The Program is designed to better integrate consuls and foreign trade reps. into the South Florida community and to provide access and visibility among them and the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce members. This is achieved by including consuls and trade reps. as ex-officio members of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. As such, they will be included in all member activities and communications.

Improve and strengthen communication and personal relations with members of the Consular Corps by using all resources available to the Chamber.

Increase the exposure of the Chamber in the international community by attending non-Chamber Consular Corps events.

Streamline process for briefing sessions with foreign dignitaries and international executives that visit Miami.

Create long-term funding for Consular Corps program and events.
