Global Linkage Initiatives Goals
Organize three or more missions to countries that are best markets of opportunity for Florida companies:
• Place emphasis on countries with a pending FTA
Work with local institutions in the fall to develop a program on business language training for native speakers to prepare professionals to enter the global marketplace.
Coordinate with local trade offices to organize missions and collect market data to identify best sectors and opportunities.
Coordinate with the Leadership Americas Committee on all inbound missions
• Notify Chamber members about visiting delegations and potential business opportunities
Committee Description
The Global Linkage Initiatives Committee of the Chamber promotes international business through inbound and outbound missions led by the Chamber and in some cases in partnership with other organizations. The committee provides Chamber members the opportunity to connect internationally through B2B programs.
