Consular Corps Goals
Work with Consuls and Trade Commissioners to create awareness of networking opportunities within the Chamber:
• Increase participation in monthly Trustee Luncheons, events and functions
Work with bi-national chambers of commerce, economic development organizations and other strategic partners to increase participation of international companies new to South Florida in Chamber activities.
Work with the consular community to determine their needs and assist them with the development of programs that will help them to accomplish their goals while in Florida.
partner with key organizations to compile a comprehensive list of international organizations in South Florida.
Committee Description
The Program is designed to better integrate consuls and foreign trade reps. into the South Florida community and to provide access and visibility among them and the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce members. This is achieved by including consuls and trade reps. as ex-officio members of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. As such, they will be included in all member activities and communications.
