The Greater Miami Chamber produces more than 200 events and programs annually, focusing on key issues facing our community and celebrating the success of area businesses and individuals.
Including among these events are some of the chamber’s signature productions, such as the Annual Goals Conference that honors the success of committees and leadership for the Chamber’s program year and begins the planning for the next year; Sand In My Shoes, Greater Miami’s most prestigious award has been offered annually since 1980, honoring couples and individuals who have made a special contribution to our community; the Chamber’s Fall Open House to re-engage members with committee work after the summer vacation and our monthly Trustee Luncheons that focus our premium members on important business topics and provide networking among 400 business people each month.
In addition, the Chamber has an active not-for-profit foundation, the South Florida Progress Foundation and it holds a Free Trade Zone license from the United States Department of Commerce.
