Japanese Ambassador Visits the greater miami Chamber
A select group of Miami business leaders and Chamber members had breakfast Monday with the Honorable Ichiro Fujisaki, Japanese Ambassador to the United States. Ambassador Fujisaki outlined major issues facing Japan, including relations with China, Iran’s concern about the development of nuclear weaponry and the controversy of American military bases in Japan. He also discussed Japan’s
interest in business development in Miami. He was delighted “to see several Latin American countries doing better economically.” He believes this will spark future Japanese interest in Miami, as the gateway to Latin America. The meeting was sponsored by the Fuentes Consulting Group, Toyota and the Florida Delegation SEUS/Japan Association, Inc.
