Technology/Innovation Committee
Miami’s rise as a tech hub presents a significant opportunity to transform the region’s economic landscape. The Technology & Innovation Committee aims to foster discussions on technology topics relevant to the local business community and the region at large, while continuing to establish Miami's place as a tech hub for innovation and growth. Its objectives include creating valuable networking opportunities, acting as a catalyst for the tech ecosystem through meetings, networking opportunities and specific initiatives, and offering programming that is relevant, interesting and informative to a diverse group of stakeholders.
Participation is open to all Chamber members in good standing who have interests or concerns related to all facets of the region's growing technology infrastructure. Members include technology start-ups, related businesses, industry professionals and technology stakeholders.

2025-2026 TECHNOLOGY & INNOVATION COMMITTEE GOALS
- Hold 3 forums for members on topics such as:
- Technology Preparedness: How to protect from things like ransomware, conduct threat assessments, and create a state of readiness to adopt, implement and use technology effectively
- AI for Small Businesses: How Small Businesses can adopt available AI to increase efficiencies.
- Showcase the innovation and creativity of the Tech community at The Lab Miami.
- Conduct committee member survey on committee engagement.
- Increase membership by adding 10 new tech companies to the committee.
