Team 1: Da1e Miami

Benefiting Voices for Children Foundation

Project Description

Every child deserves a voice. Our passionate and motivated team, Da1eMiami, is working with Voices for Children Foundation to ensure that every child in the foster care system has the resources to thrive- now and in the future.

Every child deserves access to necessities. There are over 1,600 youth in the Miami-Dade foster care system. Voices for Children’s Comfort Closet is the first line of defense for youth in care. To better serve children and youth in the foster care system , we are raising money to expand their Comfort Closet which houses essential items, such as toys, school supplies, hygiene items, books, and more.

Every child deserves the opportunity to pursue their dream. Voices for Children supports growing youth by teaching them self-sufficiency and leadership skills to prepare for their future. Da1eMiami is partnering with Voices to create a Professional Development Suite to provide interview attire and career-readiness support for youth ages 11-18.

We need your help to make these projects happen. Your donation will directly fund shelving, furnishings, clothing, and supplies that give children comfort, dignity, and confidence during some of the most important moments of their lives.

Every child deserves YOUR voice. Please consider making a gift today to ensure every child and youth in the foster care system can build the future they deserve. ¡Dale!

Team 2: Illuminate Miami

Benefiting The Salvation Army Miami Area Command

Project Description

HELP US BUILD A SAFE SPACE WHERE CHILDREN EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS CAN HEAL THROUGH PLAY

Team 2 IlluminateMiami, in partnership with The Salvation Army Miami Area Command, is building a healing-centered playground at the Center of Hope for children experiencing homelessness in Miami-Dade County.

A safe, supportive play space helps children:
• Reduce toxic stress
• Improve emotional regulation
• Build confidence and self-esteem
• Strengthen social connection
• Restore autonomy and resilience

Children facing homelessness experience high rates of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), making them:
• 4x more likely to experience depression
• 7x more likely to develop substance dependence
• 12x more likely to attempt suicide

Physical inactivity accounts for nearly 70% of low self-esteem outcomes among homeless youth. Structured play is not just recreational—it’s protective and healing.

Your donation helps transform an unused outdoor area into a space where children can play, breathe, and simply be kids again. Every gift directly supports equipment, safety features, and volunteer build efforts.

Thank you for helping us create lasting impact for Miami’s most vulnerable families.

JOIN US BY BUILDING RESILIENCE FROM THE GROUND UP.

Team 3: Move Miami

Benefiting Kristi House

Project Description

We are Team 3 of Move Miami, a passionate group of leaders committed to creating meaningful, lasting impact across our city. We are honored to partner with Kristi House, a nationally recognized nonprofit dedicated to healing, protecting, and empowering children, adolescents, and families affected by abuse, human trafficking, and exploitation.

Our project, The GOLDen Haven, will transform the undeveloped backyard of Kristi House’s second Project GOLD home into a restorative outdoor healing and learning environment. Project GOLD serves adolescents and young adults who have experienced or are at high risk of sexual exploitation and human trafficking. The GOLDen Haven will provide a safe, calming space designed for therapeutic activities, peer connection, reflection, and empowerment while offering survivors a place to breathe, rebuild trust, and rediscover hope.

Your support will help us create a sanctuary where healing can happen in the open air. Beyond physical improvements, this project will help foster education and awareness around human trafficking through outreach initiatives that engage corporate partners and community leaders. Together with Kristi House, we are building more than a space. We are helping to provide a pathway toward brighter futures for vulnerable youth in Miami.

Team 4: Action 4 Miami

Benefiting Jessie Trice Community Health System

Project Description

On 54th Street, miracles happen every day.

In partnership with Jessie Trice Community Health System, team Action4Miami is raising funds to transform the outdoor space at the Women’s Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Center at Jefferson Reaves House. Healing deserves room to grow.

Today, the Mommy & Me program serves mothers in recovery and their children primarily indoors. Outside, there is only a small, bare courtyard with no dedicated space to play, celebrate life milestones, or simply experience joy together. Recovery is already a miracle. Now we want to build a space that reflects it.

With your generous support, the Serenity Project will come to life:

  • A playground where laughter becomes part of healing
  • A gazebo to celebrate birthdays, graduations, and recovery milestones
  • A garden that symbolizes new beginnings, honors patients, and invites family connection

Your donation helps create a welcoming space for beautiful memories to thrive. It protects dignity, grows hope, and strengthens community connection, so families can heal and renew their stories together. Let’s ensure 54th Street is a place where miracles don’t just happen inside, but outside too.
