LeverX Celebrates New Miami Headquarters
We're thrilled to celebrate a wonderful milestone with LeverX as they opened their new headquarters at 801 Brickell Avenue, Suite 1970! The ribbon cutting brought together Chamber members, business leaders, and special guests including Ilona Vega Jaramillo, VP of International Economic Development at the Beacon Council.
In just a couple of years, LeverX has truly made Miami home. Under the visionary leadership of founder and CEO Victor Lozinski—a dedicated Chamber member and friend to our community—this global SAP consultancy has become an integral part of our business family. Serving Fortune 500 clients worldwide, LeverX's new headquarters represents more than just expansion; it's a symbol of their commitment to growing with Miami. We couldn't be more excited to see the innovation and collaboration that will flourish in their new space. Here's to many more successes together!

Epilepsy Awareness Month
Join Epilepsy Alliance Florida in spreading understanding, hope, and support for the more than 500,000 Floridians living with epilepsy. Together, we can break the stigma, raise awareness, and ensure no one faces epilepsy alone. Wear purple, share your story, and help us shine a light on this important cause.
November is Epilepsy Awareness Month. Show you care. Be Aware.
Know the Signs of a Seizure:
- Turn the person gently on their side
 - Remove hard or sharp objects/glasses
 - Use something soft under their head
 - Stay calm and stay with the person
 - Time the seizure
 
Remember, never put anything in anyone's mouth or hold a person down when they are having a seizure.

GMCC Celebrates Reopening of Newly Remodeled Burger King Location

Hurricane Relief Effort for Melissa
United Way Miami and the Miami Herald/el Nuevo Herald have activated Operation Helping Hands to provide critical aid to families and communities impacted by Hurricane Melissa. The storm has significantly impacted Jamaica, Cuba, the Bahamas, Haiti and other impact areas in the Caribbean, causing catastrophic flooding, destructive winds, and life-threatening storm surge.
To support and assist affected families with both the immediate relief and long-term recovery needs, please make a donation below to Operation Helping Hands.
100% of funds raised through Operation Helping Hands will be used to purchase critical relief items and services through trusted non-profit organizations working on the ground in affected areas.

South Dade BRT Opens After Decade of Chamber Advocacy
The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce celebrated the opening of the South Dade Bus Rapid Transit corridor on October 22, 2025 - a milestone nearly ten years in the making.
From CEO Alfred Sanchez's first day on the job, the Chamber led advocacy efforts that secured $110 million in federal funding for this fully-electric BRT system. Connecting Florida City to Dadeland and Metrorail, this project proves that sustained collaboration delivers transformational infrastructure for our community.

What the OBBBA Means for Individuals
President Trump officially signed into law the One Big Beautiful Bill Act on July 4, a major tax package that impacts nearly all U.S. taxpayers. The new law extends key provisions of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) and introduces new tax breaks for workers, families, and retirees.
