Japan Airlines Execs Meeting With Miami-Dade Mayor| Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce
Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava is meeting with executives from Japan Airlines this week, according to the Herald.
Cava will push for the airline to launch the first ever nonstop flights from Japan to Miami.
The meeting is expected to take place Thursday. It is part of a 10-day trip by the mayor to improve economic ties between Miami and Japan.
Japan’s Consul General in Miami is also said to be lobbying for the flights.
