MIAMI ( April 29, 2021 ) —

Starting today, Thursday, April 29, appointments are no longer required to receive the vaccine at Miami-Dade County drive-through vaccination sites – Tropical Park, Zoo Miami, and Homestead Sports Complex. For a faster registration process on-site, residents are encouraged to sign up for appointments available both same-day and in coming days by reserving online at miamidade.gov/vaccine or calling 305-614-2014.

"I'm proud that Miami-Dade County was one of the first communities in the country to develop an online pre-registration system to help fairly allocate vaccine appointments when supply was extremely limited," said Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. "Now, more than 1.2 million residents have received at least one dose of the vaccine, and we are making it as easy as possible to get a vaccine while expanding our outreach and education efforts to make sure no communities are left behind. Getting vaccinated is our best shot to protect our loved ones and put the pandemic behind us. Find a location near you: miamidade.gov/vaccine."
