Financial Services Committee
The Financial Services Committee addresses a broad range of regulatory concerns that impact the industry, along with numerous internal and external factors that impact this sector. These may encompass cybersecurity, FinTech, compliance, community development, insurance, business and corporate needs, talent acquisition, competition, mergers and acquisitions, and other relevant topics.
Objectives
• Keep members informed on current financial services related issues and regulatory matters
• Provide programming that is relevant, interesting and informative to a diverse group of stakeholders in business, finance and the economy.
Participation in the Financial Services Committee is open to all Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce members who have interests or concerns related to the banking and finance industries. Committee membership is open to all and has a high concentration of financial institutions of all types, including banks, investment advisors, investors, and related industry professionals.
The Financial Services Committee is led by a Committee Chair and Vice Chair, who are elected by the Board of Directors for a two-year term. The Committee Chair is responsible for the effective functioning of the Financial Services Committee and ensuring its goals and activities are aligned with the committee’s mission and objectives.

2025-2026 FINANCIAL SERVICES COMMITTEE GOALS:
- Host an Educational Forum on the impact of AI on Cyber fraud in financial services.
- Organize the annual signature Women Leaders Forum in November
- Execute the 2026 South Florida Economic Summit in February
- In partnership with the membership department, recruit and engage 10 new members
