Express Travel has negotiated hotel rates for displaced foreign nationals. These are hotels that are guaranteeing they will stay open during these times. As per the Mayor's revised directive, hotels CAN accommodate foreign nationals who are not able to return home at this time. Florida Blue launched a 24-hour, free emotional support helpline for all Floridians, in partnership with New Directions Behavioral Health. Any Floridian - even in uninsured or insured by another plan - can call 833-848-1762 for support in managing feelings of stress, anxiety, grief or fear related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Junior Achievement is offering free online resources to parents and teachers. These resources for all grade levels (K-12) focus on financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship and include printable/downloadable materials, as well as online videos, games, and apps. Materials will be added and updated regularly and can be found here.
The Knight Foundation
The Knight Foundation is contributing $450,000 to support The United Way Miami Pandemic Response Fund. The Foundation will also contribute $250,000 to support The Miami Foundation Community Recovery Fund.
The Dolphins are pledging $500,000 to help support critical needs for elderly and youth in the community including school meal programs for Broward Schools and Miami-Dade County Public Schools, relief efforts led by churches in the City of Miami Gardens and assisting Feeding South Florida. Hard Rock Stadium is also being used as a coronavirus testing facility.
Miami Foundation's Community Recovery Fund provides critical help to Miami-Dade nonprofits whose operations are severely impacted and supports their long-term recovery, resilience and financial stability. The Miami Foundation has seeded the Fund with a $300,000 contribution. To support Miami-Dade County's vital network of nonprofits institutions and the residents they serve, give now. The Micky & Madeleine Arison Family Foundation donated $1 million to the Miami HEAT Charitable Fund at The Miami Foundation for an initiative benefiting team and area staff. Nearly 1,000 part-time HEAT and arena employees were immediately affected after the NBA announced it would suspend the season due to potential spread of coronavirus. The gift will also help address broader community needs that emerge in the coming months.

US Food and Drug Administration
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is providing instruction to the import community regarding the submission of entry information for personal protective equipment and certain other devices. Following the instructions below will help facilitate the import process for all; especially for products related to the Coronavirus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) public health emergency. It is in the best interest of the U.S. to facilitate and expedite the importation of products into the U.S. market that address immediate, urgent public health needs. United Way of Miami-Dade
Anchor organizations have joined United Way of Miami-Dade and the Miami Herald/el Nuevo Herald through Operation Helping Hands to launch the Miami Pandemic Response Fund. Health Foundation of South Florida, The Miami Foundation, Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, The Frederick A. DeLuca Foundation and United Way have come together to provide seed funding of $500,000 to aid families and small businesses through a network of nonprofit partners responding to the unprecedented economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
